Sweet Potato Pie asked:

I do not currently have the perm though we have had them in the past. My hair will not lay down prosaic in the front in sequence to mix in with my wig. we attempted multiform gels as well as pomades though zero lays it down prosaic to final all day long. we lay underneath the dryer as well as wear the headband during night. But, zero is working. What products or techniques would we suggest?
The wig is curly.

its because you dont have a relaxer. the new growth will look different and be harder to manage than the rest of the hair.

the only way to get it to blend in and look natural is to get a touch up of the new growth. b/c if you just try to gel it down, it wont work. my friend has a wig she wears and it looks bad b/c the front of the hair is all wavy and the back is silky smooth. it is obvious.

what she does to camoflauge it is wear a head band or cute hair scarf over it so the “nappy” part wont show. it looks much better. you can try that til you go see your stylist.

    good luck :)

How is the wig styled? If its like straight, then striaght the front flat and then try blending it in.
