I never knew my hair was type 3c until I saw this! I just assumed it would be type 4 something until I saw these pictures. My hair forms small spirals that spring back into shape. Didn’t even know that until I transitioned out of relaxers while pregnant. My 2 sons are multiracial like yours, my hubbie is Scottish and I am Black Creole and 1/4 Choctaw. Their hair is different from each other as well, one 3A and the other 3b/c, both honey blond although both me and hub have dark hair!

Why did you decide to go natural? Did you find it hard to take care of two textures of hair? Breakage? Maybe you can point out a video of yours for me to watch. Thanks!

hair staples are the products that you use on your hair, on a consistent basis.
    my main staples are
shea butter, coconut oil and glycerin.
    hth =o)

  • xxladyluna666xx says:

What’s hair staples? I never got that when someone says “I use so and so has my hair staples”

short cropped hair is fine, but i love my long hair so sorry :) i also agree with you that relaxers have a effect on our health,
as for me i no longer use chemicals,
in my hair i have been relaxer free for over a year and i plan on staying that way.

  • OHTinoOK says:

I think black women are better looking with theur natural hair cropped close, why do they resist being natural, those chemicals used to make the hair European will have bad effects on the health in time. Go natural, be true to yourself…

  • lovelyti2002 says:

you can’t…you will have to wait untill you have a few months worth of new growth,
it can take between 3-6mth to get a accurate look.

  • dache2007 says:

how can u figure out ur hair grade if ur relaxed??

  • Shimmy2009 says:

    I am definitely btw a 4A and 4B!

  • nar6ika says:

it’s beautiful to look at all the types of hair existing in this world! Thx a lot for this video.

to me a texturizer is nothing but a mild relaxer some people take relaxers and put it on their hair for 5 mins,
    then wash it out.
other people just buy reg texturizers,
i think it’s the same thing as a relaxer
it alters your natural hair, so it’s not for me, but to each their own i know a lot of people who love using textures :)

  • jigga2183 says:

wat would a 4b person do for faster growth same as u? im so impatient lol

  • Fangirl77 says:

What’s your opinion on hair texturizers for 4a hair? I read that it’s a lot less damaging and easier to manage in one article, but then another said it works but when you get a touch up it straightens out the previously texturized hair, eventually making it straight anyway. I’d like to go natural and just straighten it, but I’m an athlete so right after working out it’d be puffy again. My mom won’t let me wear wigs and I really want to lol.

  • lovelyti2002 says:

hey girl. i am transitioning right now,
that is a wig i am wearing in this video lol my last relaxer was 11mths ago, so girl i can’t wait till i’m all the way natural lol

  • yesdiva01 says:

are you natural? your hair looks relaxed!

  • lovelyti2002 says:

thank u so much my hair grade is 4a i have a lil 3c mixed in my hair as well,
    but i claim 4a :)

  • Cuckoo4you says:

I love your vids! What is your hair type?

  • nickycake says:

Nice thank you so much. Gee I didn’t know I was enjoying the song so much until the video ended. Whaaaa.

  • lovelyti2002 says:

the only way to tell what your hair type is to see your natural hair grade, if you are relaxed you need to wait a few months untill your natural hair grade is a few inches long then your will be able to tell.
if your daughters hair is relaxed then
    i don’t know sorry.

  • lovelyti2002 says:

thanks girl yep i did lol

  • venisehughes says:

Thanks for this information. What I need to know is how do you really tell what the type is, one can look at pictures for days and not be accurate, you know. Are these pictures of people who do not have chemically treated hair and if so, do you go by feel or what? Don’t mean to sound negative, just need to know. My baby girl is Indian/Black/Jewish and she has cold black hair with extremely tight waves, but I’ve relaxed it for about 4 yrs, it was so unmanageable, what type is this? Thanks

  • kenandlonnie says:

what is pre poo and co-wash and when do i do these things ?

  • nubianbeauty84 says:

This vid ROX!!!!!! U did that!!!!

  • nubianbeauty84 says:

U work for Citifinancial? I used to work 4 them!!!! lol

  • lovelyti2002 says:

umm yeah it is, you will need to wait a few months, to see your new growth,
then you will be able to determine your natural hair texture.
