i always thought if you wore your hair down that it would tend to grow and if it was worn up it would take longer to grow.

also, i always thought white womens hair grew faster because it was straight and the hair texture was so easily like that then their hair would tend to grow as long as it was in straight texture…

i dont know why ppl thin black hair dont grow, plus her comment of not washing the hair more than every other week more applies to woman with relaxed hair, my hair is natural i wash it every 4/5 days depending on what products i put on it.

    Good tips.
I use all of these tips already. I co-wash every 5 days or so, and shampoo probably once every 3 wks. I oil my scalp with tea tree oil for its anti-fungal properties probably every 10 days and I oil my scalp with coconut oil mixed with olive oil after every co-wash. I have dry scalp and this is a life-saver. I also use this on my ends. This helps keep my hair soft, shiny and manageable. I wrap my hair every single night with a silk scarf. Soon I’ll purchase a silk pillow case.

I agree. If I washed my hair only every other week I’d have horrible build up and greasy looking hair thats very weighed down. I co-wash every 5 days.
