if you heard this all before, and still having problem, you probably didnt commit to it. I know its hard, you want to color it, perm it. why not keep it natural and use natural color processing. Henna is okay, it dried my hair out, but did well for others. Theres many others. Length is all in the naturalness.

keep scalp grease free, it could be dandruff, use dandruff shampoo. The follicles provide the right oils. Most of the care is in the washing process, once you’ve done your week or 2 week oil treatment, use and gentle shampoo: One steady hair product with homectants keeps up with ph balance. If you have perm, t shouldnt need to much polishing, and less activity. Perm hair isntreally sturdy for too many styles. I say wear it natural and straighten it, and you can best of both worlds with long hair.

I hate to go against your remedies, but little iis needed for hair growth. 1. letting it out and breathing, find style that doesnt consist of binding the hair. 2. less is more, find one good product per wash till your next wash, more will counter some products. making hair oily, or dry. 3. this all in retrospect to 2; using leave-in conditioner(it doesnt have to say leavin conditioner) while is damp will help the hair absorb the oil when it dries, than coating it. no 2 that shiny dry hair ;].

    1. Eggs and mayonnaise leaves your hair TOO greasy.
    2. Use The (cream cholesteral).
3.) Tea Tree Hot oil treatment
4.) Yogurt leaves your hair strong, feeling soft, and thick.
5.( My hair is very curly and bleaching it did some damage. I prepared my hair before going blonde! Hope this helps someone:) Have a great day!

i have a question about the hair treatments. Do you do them every week? twice a week? Every day? Once a month? Twice a month?

    -Thanks

I see that, but how can you compare the two if the hair isn’t in the same state?

  • growblackhair says:

mix two spoons of olive oil with 1 egg + a (conditoner optional)

  • growblackhair says:

in the after pic my hair is straitened in my before pic my hair is twisted

  • lavarad says:

Yes. The problem with that is your hair isn’t being cleaned or moisturized. If you can, wash and moisturize your roots. Doing something like this WILL make your hair grow.

  • jaquise1987 says:

    what are the dried herbs?

  • Lifashaircup87 says:

How much did the hair actually grow. The before picture is the hair in the natural state (How long is it when it is straighten???) Your after pic was the hair straighten so how can we compare the two??

  • lucazade1989 says:

  • lucazade1989 says:

  • breciamarie says:

my roommate uses egg in her hair.. it makes it thicker.. i just cant do it.. lol

  • cammzz says:

Aloe Vera its a plant which can produce oils which are great for hair and skin treatments.

  • lizathedoll says:

Grease!!!! YUCK. You’re clogging your pores with that. Do some research to find out what NOT to put on Afrocentric hair. You may want to research some simple things to feed your hair and scalp, like olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil.

Maybe sleep on a satin pillowcase so your hair won’t snag while sleeping (cotton snags).

Find an alternative to weaves (very hard on hair and scalp). Actually can pull hair out at the roots.
